Big room

A good portion of the music video will be shot in "The big room" using techniques like green screen for performances and many different shots like birds eye shot for a scene in which "Lily Allen" will be undertaking surgery, close-ups and extreme close-ups.

Camera effects

We were discussing camera effects we could possibly use in our music video and tried to see if we could do a kind of effect where it looks like the main focus of the camera would be zooming in and the background would be zooming out. Kind of like the effect you see when someone feels dazed. We found that that we couldn't get the type of effect we wanted.

Lighting effects

We started experimenting with lighting using a girl from our class to be the subject

I found that these three lighting effects were my favourite because I feel they would fit with the music video the most.

Edit: We only used the blue effect in the video because i felt like there would be too much pink if we used the pink effect.

our "Lily Allen"

We have found a girl to be the main performer, her name is Kyra Morris and we took some shots of her to see how she looked on camera.

Location hunting

Today the producer (Joe), DoP (Rebekha) and myself went location hunting because one scene i wanted was observational footage of the performer walking outside

Edit: Even though we chose a location we decided not to use it in the end because we thought it would be too different compared to the rest of the music video and wouldn't really make much sense.

Story board

The first thing my group and I have done is start the story board. We did 18 pages altogether which included most of my ideas and the way i want them to be shot.
